Kingston University’s LandscapeIS features in new AHRC Creative Economy Showcase film!

The latest film from the Arts and Humanities Research Council shines a light on the recent Creative Economy Showcase event featuring an interview with Assoc. Prof Pat Brown of Landscape Interface Studio, Kingston University.  LandscapeIS took part in the AHRC Creative Economy Showcase event earlier this year which featured their collaborative research with London based SME, Shared Assets on the Limehouse Cut project.

The UK’s Creative Economy – which embraces the creative industries and the cultural sector – is a dynamic and vital part of the UK’s economy.  It accounts for more than 5% of UK Gross Value Added (higher than Financial Services, Advanced Manufacturing and Construction), nearly 10% of the economy, and is estimated to be growing at a higher rate than any other sector.

Tip:  Fast forward to 5:50 to see the Limehouse project visuals and interview – great stuff!
