Creative Economy Showcase 2014

Landscape Interface Studio (LIS), Kingston University has been selected by the Arts and Humanities Research Council to develop and present an exhibition of their recent collaborative project, Limehouse Cut – linking place and creativity at the upcoming AHRC Creative Economy Showcase 2014 which will take place at King’s Place, London on March 12th 2014.

The AHRC’s Creative Economy showcase will:
  • Highlight the vital relationship between the arts and humanities research base and the UK’s Creative Economy
  • Raise the profile of the UK’s creative and cultural sector and highlights its contribution to growth and innovation within the UK economy
  • Target and reach new audiences within the Creative Economy
  • Bring the key players together to discuss overarching challenges and future priorities

Keynote speakers will include the Rt Hon David Willetts, the Rt Hon Ed Vaizey,Sebastian Conran (Designer), Professor Judy Simons (Emeritus Professor, De Montfort University), Dr David Docherty (CEO, National Centre for Universities and Business) and Professor Rick Rylance (CEO, AHRC).
